The room was spotless. The bed was very comfortable. Nice towels. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. El Patio is a quaint little retro motel. It is located in Old Town, convenient to the beach, sights restaurants and Duval St. It's a bare bones motel but a great value. If you're looking for all the frills of big name hotels, this is not the motel for you. If you're looking for a clean room that's a great value then look no further.

Key west is very expensive. This place was affordable and very nice. A good pool and comfortable beds. A little outdated but a great place to use as a home base.

Its so stylish from the art deco exterior to the tiles and old skool vent door. It is very simple, but its so querky and well looked after, with so much character you cant not love it. Air con was great, nice to have a fridge. Patio rooftop was nice place to see the sun rise.

We had room #30 which is the apartment with a kitchen. Everything was clean and well maintained. This is an older motel but it is well kept. We would definitely stay here again.

Our second time staying at El Patio and we cant wait for the third. This time we stayed in an apartment room which included a fully stocked kitchen and separate living room with dining area. It felt like home away from home. We love the property and how close it is to both the ocean and Duval. We have rented a scooter each time but everything is truly within walking distance. The pool is great and be sure to check out the rooftop patio for a great sunset.

Staff were very friendly during our stay. Location of this property is perfect for us as it was close to the beach but away from the busy and congested central are of Duval St. The rooms were very spacious as well.

It is difficult to find a well priced property in Key West. El Patio is perfect. It had a nice feel to the rooms, nothing too fancy, but very comfortable. Nice to have a pool and also parking. Walkable distance (20-30 mins) to the Old District, so don't need to drive while in Key West.

Location is in walking distance to beach and southern end of Duval St. Liked the upstairs patio for drinks at night. There was a daily towel change and rubbish collection from the room.

I have stayed here many times over the years and staff is always great. I love the roof patio and its super close to higgs beach, duval and the 90 miles to Cuba buoy. Also some of my favorite places to get coffee and food are close by.
